The Nation
Advanced companion to Meet Natio, dropping the character persona to address the real technical term directly: a nation as a bounded stretch of land holding many cities and towns, linked by shared roads, currency, and language. Structured as a boundary-scan across the map. Geography-neutral (land, map, coast, never power or politics), matching the original song's own firewall.
Trace a border on a map, and everything inside gets a shared name, a coastline here, a mountain range there, a river marking the frame, inside that outline sit a thousand towns, each one its own small light, joined by the same paved roads, the same shared time at night.
A nation is a bounded stretch of land, geography stitched with lines, holding every city, every village, every scattered farmhouse in between, the same currency changes hands from a coast to a valley far inside, the same language echoes differently from a delta to a mountainside.
Zoom out from one town and the map keeps unrolling farther still, past forests, past deserts, past a river cutting through a hill, every dot on the outline belongs to the same drawn shape, a nation counted purely by geography, never by power or by claim.
Zoom out once more and the borders themselves start to blur, a nation is one shape among many the whole globe holds together, count the towns, trace the coast, measure the land it spans, a nation fills the scale between a city and a world of maps.
