[INDI] I'm Indi — one me, a crowd of cells in a grin, a whole little person... and the pile begins!

[ALL] Indi! (stomp-clap!) That's one — catch the beat, here we go!

[FAMI] (ding-dong!) A few little Indis who tuck you in tight, who goof up the day and stay close every night — that's me, I'm Fami! Sing every one —

[ALL] Indi... and Fami! (stomp-clap-clap!) A creature made of creatures — that's two, pile it on!

[VILLA] (block-party whoop — heyyy!) The families near, the wave on the sidewalk, the folks you hold dear — I'm Villa! Stack me on, sing the whole stack tall —

[POLIS] (bus horn — beep-beep!) Towers and neighborhoods stacked, buses and trains on the clickety track — I'm Polis, the city! One more rung, sing 'em all —

[ALL] Indi... Fami... Villa... and Polis! (stomp-clap-clap-stomp!) A creature made of creatures — that's four, pile it on!

[NATIO] (parade drums — rat-a-tat! flags go FWAP-FWAP!) I'm Natio — the country! Cities throw a high-five line, a parade a thousand miles long, every town fallin' in time — faster now, catch the beat, sing 'em all —

[ALL] Indi-Fami-Villa-Polis... and Natio! (stomp-clap!) A creature made of creatures — that's five, one more, pile it on!

[MUNDA] (globe whirr — wweeeoo!) I'm Munda — the world! Every country, every one, every kid round the Earth in one big chain in the sun! The biggest creature of all — now everybody, give it all —

[ALL] Indi! Fami! Villa! Polis! Natio! Munda! all of us together, and that giant is "We"! (stomp-stomp-clap!)

[KID] So am I one... or am I a lot? [INDI] Both, little one — a whole and a part!

[ALL] (count it on your fingers — stomp-clap each one!) Atoms make a cell (clap!), cells make a me (clap!), mes make a family (clap!), families a village (clap!), villages a city (clap!), cities a country (clap!), countries make the world (STOMP!) — small to tall, that's We!
