Gravity
Advanced companion to I'm Gravita, naming the real force directly for an older audience: gravity is the weakest of the four fundamental forces, but it is always attractive, has infinite range, and follows an inverse square law. General relativity reframes gravity as curved spacetime, and the equivalence principle links free fall to weightlessness. Gravity dominates at cosmic scale because matter is electrically neutral overall and the strong and weak forces are confined to nuclear distances. Uses a layered round/canon cadence.
Gravity pulls, every mass on every other mass, the weakest force of all four known. Weaker than the strong force, weaker than the weak, weaker than the charge electrons have shown. But gravity never turns off, always attracting, reaching across the whole night sky. An inverse square law measures the pull, double the distance and the force falls by a full three quarters of what it was before, precise and testable, measured with care. Einstein rewrote gravity as curved spacetime bending, mass telling space where to bend and where. A planet orbits not because a rope is pulling, but because the space around it curves, following the straightest path it can find through a bent geometry that swerves. Drop inside a falling elevator and for a moment weight disappears entirely. Gravity and acceleration feel the same, Einstein called that discovery the key. The equivalence principle, free fall and weightlessness are one and the same story. Why does gravity rule the cosmos if it ranks the weakest in the four-force glory? Matter is neutral overall, positive and negative charges cancel and disappear. The strong and weak force barely reach past a nucleus, they stay confined and near. Gravity alone keeps adding up, mass after mass after endless mass combined. Across a whole galaxy, the weakest force becomes the strongest force you find. Gravity pulls, every mass on every other mass, the weakest force that never rests, adding without end across the cosmos, until it outlasts every other force's tests.
Key Concepts: Gravity is the weakest of the four fundamental forces but is always attractive and has infinite range | Gravity follows an inverse square law | General relativity reframes gravity as curved spacetime; the equivalence principle links free fall to weightlessness | Gravity dominates at cosmic scale because matter is electrically neutral overall while the strong and weak forces are confined to nuclear distances
Characters: none — advanced companion sung about the real force directly, paired with I'm Gravita, in a layered round/canon cadence
Key Words: gravity, inverse square law, general relativity, equivalence principle, four fundamental forces
Advanced companion note: This is the real-term companion to Gravita in gravita-intro.md, written for an older audience directly about gravity rather than through the character.
