I'm LiQuo, sitting in the pot Molecules together, not too hot Mama turned the stove up high — What's about to happen? Let me tell you why!

Heat is coming from below! The stove's fast molecules bump mine — and WHOA They speed me up! I start to wiggle First a shimmy, then a jiggle!

[bubbling] Getting hotter, hotter, HOT! Bubbles forming in the pot! Every bump makes me move more — Faster than I've moved before!

See, the stove is super hot — Its molecules are smacking everything they've got They bump my slow ones, speed them up Heat keeps pouring in — I can't stop!

Bubble, bubble — here we go! Boiling up from down below! My molecules are moving SO fast now They're breaking free — let me show you how:

[pop pop pop] When molecules move fast enough — They shake loose from their neighbors — that's the stuff! They FLY apart, they need more space They're not a liquid anymore — they've changed their phase!

I'm rising up! I'm lifting free! I'm not LiQuo anymore, can't you see? I'm Aiery now — I'm steam up high! Escaping from the pot into the sky!

Getting hotter, hotter, HOT! [bubbling] Bubbles rising in the pot! Heat bumps molecules fast enough to fly — Liquid turns to gas — up to the sky!

So when you see the kettle scream [whistle!] Or watch your pasta water steam That's molecules that moved so fast They broke away from liquid — turned to gas!

Heat bumps slow and speeds them up 'Til they escape right from the cup! Liquid to gas — that's boiling, friend — LiQuo becomes Aiery in the end!
