Time

Advanced companion to I'm Tempo, naming the real dimension directly for an older audience: time flows one direction because entropy (disorder) always increases in a closed system. Moving clocks run slow (special relativity, confirmed by muon decay and particle accelerators) and gravity slows clocks too (general relativity, confirmed by the 1971 Hafele-Keating flying-clock experiment and corrected for daily in GPS). Simultaneity is relative: there is no single universal "now." Uses a layered round/canon cadence.

Time only moves one direction, forward, never sliding back again. Entropy explains the arrow, disorder always growing, now and then. A cup can shatter into pieces easily, but the pieces never leap back whole. That scattering into disorder is the reason time only moves one way, not two. Fly a clock at high speed and it ticks slower than a clock that stays behind. Muons born high in the atmosphere prove it, surviving a trip their own decay clock should not allow. Special relativity predicted the slowing, particle accelerators confirm it is true. Moving clocks measurably lag behind resting clocks, tested and verified anew. Gravity slows time too, a clock deep in a well ticks slower than one up high. GPS satellites correct for both effects daily, or their signals would drift and lie. Flying atomic clocks around the earth in nineteen seventy one, east and west, researchers measured the tiny time differences relativity itself had guessed. There is no single universal now shared by every point in space. Two observers moving differently can disagree on which events took place. Time is not a river flowing the same for everyone who ever stood. It flows differently for every speed and every gravity, exactly as physics said it should. Time only moves one direction, forward, measured, tested, verified, and true. The arrow, the dilation, the relativity, all proven, and proven again for you.

Key Concepts: Time flows one direction because entropy (disorder) always increases in a closed system | Moving clocks run slow (special relativity), confirmed by muon decay and particle accelerators | Gravity slows clocks too (general relativity), confirmed by the 1971 Hafele-Keating experiment and corrected for daily in GPS | Simultaneity is relative — there is no single universal "now" shared by all observers

Characters: none — advanced companion sung about the real dimension directly, paired with I'm Tempo, in a layered round/canon cadence

Key Words: entropy, time dilation, special relativity, general relativity, simultaneity

Advanced companion note: This is the real-term companion to Tempo in tempo-intro.md, written for an older audience directly about time rather than through the character.
