Despondent Balloon!

The party's done, the cake is gone, And one balloon's still here. It's sinking low, it's sagging slow, Down low and very near.

It droops right off the kitchen chair, It slumps along the floor. It used to bounce up to the roof — It can't quite bounce no more.

DESPONDENT! Dih-SPON-dent! So saggy, low, and blue! DESPONDENT! Dih-SPON-dent! All deflated through and through!

It sighs out one last little breath, It slumps against the wall. "I miss the party," sighs the balloon, The droopiest of all.
