Grandiose Fort!

It started with a single sheet, One little blanket draped just right. But then we added thirty more, And built a CASTLE overnight!

A drawbridge made of couch cushions! A throne room down the hall! Two towers and a moat of socks — It doesn't fit at all!

It's GRANDIOSE! GRAN-dee-ohs! Bigger than it needs to be! Grandiose fort, it filled the house, You can see it from the street!

We hung a flag up on the lamp, We named ourselves the king and queen! The fort grew up, the fort grew out, The biggest thing you've ever seen!
