You can nudge him. You can plead. (you can plead!) You can dangle hay up high. (hay up high!) He looks at you, he blinks once, (he blinks once!) and he lets the whole world by. (the whole world by!)

"It's lunchtime!" (he stays.) "It's bedtime!" (he stays.) "There's a parade!" (...he stays.) Some days he stays for days and days!
