Cell Biology

An educational song teaching about cell structure and function using the rhythm of 'I'm a Little Teapot'.

I'm a little cell, a tiny town, With a bouncy fence to keep me round. Stuff comes in and stuff goes out, That's what little cells are all about!

Deep inside, the cell's own brain, The nucleus directs the train. It keeps the plans inside a book, Tells the workers where to look!

Mighty mitochondria hum and zoom, Hundreds of power plants — zoom-zoom-ZOOM! They turn my snacks to zippy zing, Energy to do most everything!

Ribosomes are busy bees, Building proteins, if you please. Golgi packs them in a box, Sends them off like tiny socks!

I'm a little cell, a tiny town, With a bouncy fence to keep me round. Trillions of us — big surprise! — Make up you, from toes to eyes!
