Glass, Rock, and Flame
A ballad about a glass cup, a rubber ball, and a muscle that grows, showing the difference between things that break, things that hold steady, and things that actually get stronger from stress.
A glass cup sat on the kitchen shelf, one small bump and it cracked itself. Down to the floor, it shattered clean, broken stays broken, nothing in between.
Some things break with a single blow, some things hold their ground, steady and slow, some things take the hit and grow, stronger every time the winds blow.
A rubber ball fell off the wall, it bounced back up, no harm at all. Same old ball the very next day, took the hit and stayed that way.
A muscle tears a little bit, heals up thicker, stronger with it. A campfire fed by a gust of air, leaps up brighter, climbing there.
Some things break with a single blow, some things hold their ground, steady and slow, some things take the hit and grow, stronger every time the winds blow.
